In this 3-hour session, participants will learn a variety of Drama strategies particularly for the teaching and learning of Mother Tongue languages. Through this workshop, Mother Tongue language teachers will develop an understanding of how Drama can extend and deepen the learning of language skills while increasing student engagement and achieving educational goals. Specially designed for Mother Tongue teachers, this hands-on workshop aims to inspire teachers to actively adapt and employ tools of Drama in their lessons.

Dalam sesi 3 jam ini, para peserta akan diperkenalkan dengan seni drama dan cara-cara drama dapat digunakan dan disesuaikan di dalam kelas untuk meningkatkan penglibatan dan mencapai matlamat pendidikan. Direka khas untuk Guru Bahasa Ibunda, para peserta akan diajar pelbagai permainan drama dan aktiviti yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu para pelajar memperkuatkan kemahiran bertutur, membaca, menulis, dan mendengar.

About The Facilitator

Ghazali Muzakir has more than 10 years experience as a Drama Educator and has been a Theatre Practitioner since 2005 in various roles (actor, writer, designer, director, producer, facilitator of Theater of the Oppressed, Playback Theatre practitioner and a certified Medical Clown). His passion for learning, combined with his child-like wonderment has allowed him to approach his practice and pedagogy with interdisciplinary methodologies.

Ghazali telah berkecimpung dalam bidang seni pentas dan lakonan semenjak tahun 2005 sebagai seorang pelakon, pereka, pengarah, penerbit, pendidik, fasilitator dan badut perubatan. Sebagai seorang pendidik seni pentas, beliau mempunyai pengalaman selama lebih sedekad mendidik para pelajar dari pelbagai latar belakang, termasuk para pelajar istimewa. Beliau pakar dalam seni “Playback Theatre” dan juga “Theatre of the Oppressed” (termasuklah Forum Teater) setelah menjalani latihan bersama Kuringa di Berlin.
