What does it take to teach drama as a CCA in today's climate? In this career chat, participants will come together to share ideas, experiences, and approaches to teaching Drama as a CCA.

Facilitated by Fanny Kee, this casual discussion will delve into the various possibilities of pitching lesson objectives to students’ needs, drawing on skillsets to bolster learning, and adopting a student-centric learning model. Join us in coming together to learn about a range of perspectives to teaching Drama as a CCA.


About the Facilitator

Fanny is an actor, puppeteer, a mime artist and an experienced drama educator with a portfolio of over 40 Secondary and Primary schools. She has a teacher’s diploma in Speech & Drama and a certificate from the renowned Ecole Philippe Gaulier, a theatre school in London. She develops an approach that marries the effective use of voice and movement to acting training. Fanny also teaches creative communication skills, presentation skills, mime and puppetry. She has served in SDEA Committee for over 9 years as Committee Member, Membership Head and Treasurer.

SDEA is a Registered Charity from 20 February 2020 and is a recipient of the National Arts Council’s Major Company Scheme
for the period from 1 April 2022 to 31 March 2025
