In loving memory of Christina Sergeant – a dearly missed actor, director, drama educator, and dear friend, SDEA presents the Tina Sergeant Professional Development Initiative.
We offer subsidies through this initiative for members to attend SDEA events, workshops, and masterclasses, making professional development more accessible and advancing the profession of the drama/theatre educator.
We want professional development to be a part of every educator's practice, especially those who may have difficulty funding it.
The initiative is now open for applicants to use for Level Up! Fest 2022 workshops.
Chosen applicants will receive 50% off the nett invoiced amount (amount after other subsidies) for Level Up! Fest programmes in funding.

As part of the commitment for being a recipient, you are expected to provide a short sharing on how attending this programme has benefitted you. This could be in the form of a quick video or a written statement, to be discussed with SDEA. We may use these materials for archival, the facilitation of feedback, and marketing for future programmes.
