SDEA Office Space Use
Over the past year, we have been piloting a new initiative to allow SDEA members like yourselves to make use of our office space in Goodman Arts Centre.
Our SDEA office has played host to gatherings, meetings, workshops and more over the 15 years since we've moved in. We've seen neighbours come and go, and have come to call our space at Block B home. The Singapore landscape has gone through many changes since, and with the rising cost of rentals, there are fewer spaces for us to come together, to exchange ideas, and to try things out.
So we are opening our office for members like you. For a small donation, if you need a space for a meeting, a gathering, or to try out new ideas, come find us at our home at Goodman Arts Centre.

Booking The Space
Available Timeslots
Bookings may be made for slots between 8:00am and 10:00pm, up to 3 months in advance of the proposed booking date.
Room Usage Fee
We would appreciate a donation for the use of the space. SDEA suggests a contribution of $12 to $15 per hour.
Who Can Book The Space
Only SDEA members may book the venue, and the member making the booking must be present throughout the duration of use.
Using The Space
The space is strictly for non-commercial use.
The following uses are prohibited, including but not limited to:
- Conducting classes for payment
- Rehearsals for events or workshops that charge participants or attendees
- Activities that may cause damage to the premises, create safety risks, or result in excessive noise
Bookings are not confirmed until a confirmation email is received from SDEA, outlining the reserved slot and terms and conditions. Priority will be given to SDEA's internal bookings, and SDEA reserves the right to amend prior bookings from members.
