The Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) funding provides a 70% subsidy for all arts educators/instructors. This subsidy is not applicable to pre-school centre staff.


Application Details:

  • Applicants must be Singaporean Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
  • Applicants must achieve at least 75% course attendance and fulfil all required assignments/coursework, including practicum
  • Within 6 months of the end of the course, applicants must show proof of 2 paid assignments of working with pre-school children*

*There is no minimum number of hours for the assignments and no minimum fee per assignment. 

Please note that applicants who are unable to fulfil the requirement of 75% attendance and/or 2 paid assignments within the given time frame will be required to repay the subsidised amount of 70% off the original fee (Non-SDEA Members - $1,638.00, SDEA Members - $1,310.40) to SDEA by 31st March 2023.

Recipients of e2i funding are not eligible for SkillsFuture Credit claims or any other funding from other government sources for this course.
