SDEA Plays for Youth Book Launch

Join us for the launch of Plays for Youth, a much-anticipated anthology of vibrant school plays written and submitted by members of the Singapore Drama Educators Association (SDEA)! The plays in this anthology are selected based on their suitability for performance by students. It promises to be a valuable resource for drama educators and teachers-in-charge looking for scripts for their students to explore the joy of drama and theatre. 

Join us in celebrating this launch as we:

• Unveil the anthology and showcase the featured plays
• Dive into a panel discussion on writing plays for youth, featuring insights from seasoned playwrights and educators
• Experience dramatic readings by Buds Youth Theatre, bringing the anthology's stories vividly to life

This publication is the result of a special project by a workgroup formed by SDEA members, featuring plays selected from an open call in June 2024.
